Deuteronomy 8:1-5 and 13:1-5
Dear Lord,
You care for me. In your Almightly Power and grace you never leave me and always redeem me from my sins. Keep me from buying into lies. To sift through the media I let into my head. Help me to see where the false prophets are and to be able to resist temptation. Help me to be satisfied with what you give me. For you only give me what is best for me. Help me to see you in all my experiences and to trust that you are here. GIP, God is Present. In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen

Proverbs 2:1-8
ReplyDeleteMy child if you: accept Jesus words, store up Jesus commands, turn your ear to His wisdom,turn your heart and cry aloud for His understanding,call out for His insight,and look for these things like silver, search for them like hidden treasure THEN you will understand the worshipful awe for the Lord and you will find the knowledge of God. For the Lord Jesus gives wisdom and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding (see John 1:1 Jesus is the Word) If you do these things then Jesus our Lord holds victory for the upright, He is a sheild to those who walk blameless, He guards the course of the just and He protects the way of his blameless ones.
